Parent Teacher Conferences December 19th and 20th!

Dear Parents and Guardians,

December parent conferences are next week and if you haven't already please book a time we can meet with you and share your child (children's) progress and what's new and coming up in our TLC classrooms.

Students are continuing their work on making, describing and recording patterns in math.  Parents can have their child point out patterns at home and out and around as they travel through their community and city.

Today is sadly the last day of our Dance Residency and all the students benefited from and enjoyed Amy and her dance lessons.  It was a wonderful opportunity for all of our students and staff!

We hope to see you at the dance tonight where students can show off their new dance moves and spend some time with family, friends and their teachers!

Just a reminder about our TLC blanket Draw.

We have an exciting opportunity that Mrs. Traquair has brought to us- please read below...
McCarthy’s has gifted a TLC crested fleece throw blanket to the school. We would like to give it to one of our TLC families.

If you would like your name in the draw for the blanket please follow these steps:

-email your child’s teacher (email address on the blog)
-type in the subject line “TLC Blanket Draw”
-type your child’s name and their class room number (3 or 4) in the email message

The draw will be made on Tuesday, December 17th at 9:30 am and the lucky family will be contacted!

If you want your name in the draw you need to send the email to your child’s teacher before 9:30 am on Dec 17, 2019.

Just a reminder that attending parent teacher conferences for TLC students is mandatory.  If you are leaving the city for a holiday please or need an interview outside of Thursday or Friday please contact us to schedule another time.  Otherwise we would appreciate you booking within those two days whenever possible.

Coming Soon!

We'll be sharing more information about our Animals in the Community inquiry work with you and ask your students what they have learned this past week about animals and hibernation!  And why rabbits turn white in the fall and winter.

Have a good day,

Ms. Phillips and Mr. Larson
