We are excited to welcome students back to school for 2020!
Thank-you to everyone for attending our parent teacher conferences. We hope your holidays were relaxing and fun filled.
This week we will be working on the letter "n".
There is no school this Friday (January 10th) as it is a professional development day for teachers.
As we continue our inquiry into the animals in our community we will be focussing on habitat and shelter this week. Students will be exploring the similarities and differences in the needs of local animals.
The virtue of the month for January is empathy. Throughout the month we will discuss the importance of seeing the world through the eyes of others and ask students what they can do to be a positive and supporting influence at school and in the community.
