Learning on the Land

Dear Parents and Guardians,

No school tomorrow!  Friday, January 31st is a PD day.

Hopefully this great weather will continue into next week.  We hope to take the classes out to do some games, gathering materials for building animal shelters and learning on the land.  I
When we get some fresh snow we'll be going out to look for and draw animal tracks.  Please make sure your child (children) have winter boots on and are dressed for some activities and learning outside.

Ask what your child has learned about animal homes.  Our inquiry work on animals in our community is ongoing.  Students are doing building challenges during center times and designing and building animal homes and shelters.
